Wilda, a resident of Bogalusa, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the age of 84, after a lengthy illness with Lewy Body Dementia. She was a lifelong resident of Washington Parish and an active and faithful member of Union Heritage Baptist Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many.

Wilda is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Daniel Ray Phillips, one Son, John Keith Phillips of Bogalusa, Daughter-in-law, Donna Lambert Phillips, Bogalusa, Grandsons Blake Alan Phillips (Whitney), Amite and Brian Keith Phillips (Wendy), Kentwood, Great Granddaughters Kallynn and Beckett Phillips, two sisters, Nell Ledet, Madisonville and Judy Foster (Charles), Denham Springs, Sister-in law Mary Hunt, Bogalusa, Brother in law Charles Russell, Angie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Wilda was predeceased by her parents, William Edgar Hunt and Ether Idonia McNeese Hunt, a brother, Quincy Hunt, sisters, Mae Stewart, Mavis Whittington, Avis Liberatore, Grace Mask, Eloise Russell, Sylvia Lambert.

Visitation will be at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Friday, July 9, 2021, beginning at 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Bro Bruce Morris will be officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice or Union Heritage Baptist Church.
