Mrs. Voncile "Bonnie" Sumrall a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, in Covington, LA at the age of 84.  Mrs. Bonnie was a member of Lee's Creek Baptist Church and an active member in the church choir.

Mrs. Bonnie is survived by her son John (Kathy) Sumrall, Jr. of Bogalusa, LA; a daughter, Laurie (Chuck) Crosby of Bogalusa, LA; a brother, Rev. Jerry Kennedy of Sheridan, LA; and a sister, Patricia Holmes of Bogalusa, LA.  She is also survived by two grandchildren, Ally Crosby and Brannan Crosby and her very special niece, Fran (Benjie) Nevers.

Mrs. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband John Sumrall, Sr.; her parents Monroe and Allie Kennedy; three brothers, Denver, Joe, and Elton Kennedy; and a sister Clara Seals.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at Lee's Creek Baptist Church from 9:00 A.M. until time for the services at 11:00 A.M.  with Rev. Dennis Allen officiating the service.  Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
