Mrs. Verda B. Breland a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away August 30, 2021 at the age of 97.

Mrs. Verda is survived by her children Ronald (Cathy) Breland of Baton Rouge, LA and Judy Breland McDaniel of Houston, TX.  She is also survived by her four grandchildren Ron (Ashley) McDaniel of Baton Rouge, LA; Ragan (Lacey) McDaniel of Houston, TX; Charles (Inga) Johnson of Prairieville, LA; Kimberly (Wade) Woodward of Dutchtown, LA; and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Verda was preceded in death by her husband Ernest L. Breland, her parents Robert and Margana Cooper, and ten brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held on September 2, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Ponemah Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Morris officiating.
