Tom James Roberts, 72, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in St. Tammany Parish Hospital - Covington.

Mr. Roberts was born September 24, 1951 in Bogalusa. He was a retired chef.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Monroe Thomas Roberts and Cora Wagner Roberts; one brother, Bennie Roberts; two grandchildren, Zachery Roberts, and Gayle Rae Smith.

Survivors include two daughters, Laura (Eric Bunn) Daigrepont, Beonka (Kirk) Wager; two grandchildren, Cody Mixon, Daniel Glover; two sisters, Gladys (Tommy) Hopkins, Joann Miley; four brothers, Rev. Eddie (Donna) Roberts, Joe (Connie) Roberts, Billy (Nita Faye) Roberts, Wesley (Barbara) Roberts; and his significant other, Debra Fontinol.

Funeral services will be held at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Avenue, Bogalusa, LA, 70427) on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Eddie Roberts officiating the service. Burial will follow in Pounds Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until services, Tuesday at the funeral home.
