Mr. Timothy Earl Byrd, 65, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 with family at his side. He was a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, born on November 28, 1958.  Tim was Senior Quality Supervisor for Southern Pine Inspection Bureau and operated an independent Forestry Consultancy.

Tim is survived by his siblings Diane and James Byrd, both of Baton Rouge; sister-in-law Nancy Byrd, nieces Amanda with husband Jessie, Sara, and Alexandra with husband Jay; grand-nieces Aime and Brooklyn with husband Josh; and grand-nephews Brody with wife Tiffanie, Braeden, Tyler, and Jackson.  Tim was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Esther Byrd.

Memorial services will be held at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Avenue, Bogalusa, Louisiana, 70427) on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 12:00 pm (Noon) until 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends and have visitation from Noon until 1:30 pm.  Thereafter, family friends and colleagues will share memories to celebrate Tim's impact on their lives.  Brother Jimmy Byrd will officiate closing remarks of the service. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
