Terry John Zeringue, Sr. was born November 22, 1941, to Ferducie Zeringue, Jr. and Sadie Zeringue Acosta.  He passed away March 1, 2022, in Bogalusa, LA at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital at the age of 80.

Terry was a native of Lafourche Parish but moved with his family in 1978 to Washington Parish.  He retired as a supply boat captain that worked in the Gulf of Mexico for many years.  In the early 1990's, he moved to Bogalusa, LA.  Terry was married to the love of his life, Jo Ann Zeringue for 60 years.

Terry is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Zeringue; son, Terry Zeringue, Jr.; a daughter in law, Lorrie Zeringue; grandchildren, Brandy Renee Zeringue and Terry Zeringue III; a brother, Jody Zeringue; and his sisters, Barbara Rhodes, Shirley Bonvillian, Beverly Koelliker, and Cindy Levron.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Ferducie Zeringue, Jr.; his mother, Sadie Zeringue Acosta, and a son Jacob Zeringue.  He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and his fur babies' "Munchie" and "Coco".

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date with Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
