Tambra “Tammy” Seal McBeth

Tambra “Tammy” Seal McBeth, a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at the age of 63. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by her love for others, her compassion, and her unwavering faith.

Tammy spent many years serving as a practice manager, most recently at Our Lady of Angels Family Practice Clinic, where she became so much more than a manager to the people she worked alongside. She had a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and cared for. To many of her employees and co-workers, she was a mother figure—someone who offered encouragement, wisdom, laughter, and a listening ear. She loved her work because she loved people, and the relationships she formed there became some of the many lasting memories she leaves behind.

Tammy also had an extraordinary soft spot for animals, especially dogs who were abandoned, neglected, or simply needed someone to love them. She had a way of seeing the ones others might overlook and could never easily turn away an animal in need. Her home and her heart always seemed to have room for one more. Whether she was rescuing a dog, feeding a stray, or simply stopping to give an animal some love, Tammy’s compassion knew no bounds. Caring for those who needed her was simply part of who she was.

Tammy is survived by her beloved husband, Johnny McBeth; her three children, Tiffany (Keith) Williams, Leigha Beth Seal, and Tyler Reed Seal; and her stepchildren, John (Michelle) Cooper, Michelle (Joe) Pennington, and Jessica (Martin) Wheat. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Hunter Williams, Olivia Grace Miley, and Brody Seal, and her step-grandchildren, Bryce (McKenzie) Pennington, Baleigh Pennington, and Dax Wheat. Tammy was eagerly looking forward to becoming a great-grandmother in October—a title she would have worn with immense pride and joy.

Tammy was also a cherished sister to Sherri (David) Williams, Jodi (Marcus) Trebotich, and Jennifer Pritchard Johnson. She also held a special place in her heart for Mark Stewart, who was a beloved part of the family and someone Tammy treasured deeply. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, who will carry their own special memories of her love, laughter, and unmistakable presence.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dorman and Lynda Pritchard; her grandparents, Aubrey and Pearline Fuller; and her uncles, Johnny Fuller, Rusty Fuller, and George Fuller.

Tammy will be remembered as a devoted wife, a fiercely loving mother, a cherished Nana, a treasured sister, a beloved aunt, a faithful friend, and a woman whose heart always seemed to have room for one more person—or one more life in need of love. She gave freely, cared deeply, and left an indelible mark on the lives of countless people.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 4, 2026, from 12:00 noon until the memorial service time of 2:00p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home. Rev. Field Thigpen will officiate the service and a private family interment will take place at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
