SHIRLEY JEAN FORD

SHIRLEY JEAN FORD, 89, was born on October 3, 1935, and passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at her residence in Sandy Hook, MS. Shirley worked for the State of Louisiana as a social worker for over 30 years. Later, she and husband, Dale, built and operated Old Hickory BBQ in Angie, Louisiana.

She is survived by her son, Jody Ford of Sandy Hook, MS; and grandchildren, Cody Ford (Mackenzie); Dylan Ford; Tyler Parker,
Trevor Parker (Abby) and Kollyn Speed. Great-grandchildren: Kayce Ford, Owen Parker, Rhett Parker, and Noa Ann Speed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dale Price Ford, her daughter, Robin Ford Parker, and her son, Kevin Lee Ford.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Sandy Hook Baptist Church.
