Sherry Elizabeth Wood a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at the age of 74.  She was employed for over 40 years at Bogalusa Community Medical Center.

Sherry is survived by one nephew, John Mason "Woody" Wood; two nieces, Melissa Wood and Teresa Bush; great nephew, Zachary Lott; great niece, Katelyn Spillman; and a half sister Deby Seal.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Mason & Vondell Moody Wood, her twin brother Terry Wood, and her sister, Barbara Lott.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 12:00 P.M. until time for the service at 2:00 P.M.  at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home with Rev. Derek Dantin officiating.  Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
