Sharon Ann Sheridan Owens

02/24/1948 – 04/03/2021

Ann S. Owens, age 73, passed away on April 3, 2021, at her residence in Bogalusa.  She was a lifelong piano player at church and was a teacher to many at her home.

Ann is survived by her husband James Owens of Bogalusa, LA; her children Cathy Lopez of Bogalusa, LA, Byron (Elizabeth) Owens of Bogalusa, LA, and Justin Owens of Henleyfield, MS; Sisters Carolyn (Lavern) Jenkins of Pine, LA, Mary (Mike) Williams, of Varnado, LA, and Martha Lee of Bogalusa, LA; a sister -in-law Faye Sheridan of Bogalusa, LA; 10 grandchildren Hannah Lopez, Jonah Lopez, Sheridan Lopez, Austin (Skylar) Owens, Luke (Caitlin) Owens, Will (Katelyn) Owens, Isabelle Owens, MaKenzie Owens, Malorie Owens, Mia Owens; 2 great-grandchildren Everleigh Owens, Sebastian "Bash" Owens, Willow Silva.

Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Sheridan and Pearlie Miley, and one brother Glen Sheridan.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 5, 2021, from 5:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. and 9:00a.m. until service time of 2:00p.m. on Tuesday April 6, 2021, all at Bens Ford Baptist Church.  Rev. Caleb Martin will officiate and interment will be held at Mt Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
