Mrs. Sandra Ann Stewart, a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the age of 74.  Mrs. Sandra was a proud Gold Star Mother and in turn helped establish the Poole's Bluff Veteran's Memorial Park.  She was a member of ESM Methodist Church and also a member of the Washington Parish Art Association.  Mrs. Sandra was also a retired registered nurse.

Mrs. Sandra is survived by her husband, Asa Joseph "Joey" Stewart; her daughter, JoAnna Stewart; and her grandson, David Stephen Stewart II.  She is also survived by two brothers, Stephen (Lavonne) Stringer and Michael Stringer; one sister, Terry (Ronald) Wilson; her stepmother, Betty Stringer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sandra was preceded in death by her two sons, Cpl. David Stephen "Bear" Stewart and Joseph Jason Stewart, and her parents, James L. Stringer and JoAnn Miller Cassidy.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 5:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home and continue Friday, February 24, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. until time for the services at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Fred Brumfield officiating the services.  Interment to follow at Lee's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
