Sandra Gendron, a Bogalusa, LA native went home to be with Our Lord, August 9th, 2021 at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, LA .

Sandra was the beloved wife of Donald Gendron of 46 years. Sandra is survived by her husband Donald Gendron, her father Harold Penton, two brothers Keith and Kenneth (Samantha) Penton, her sons Carey Gendron and Kyle (Melissa) Gendron. Sandra will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Tyler, Skyler, and Georgia Gendron as well as her bonus grandchildren Hayden Gaiser and Christopher Taylor and an extended daughter, Susan Boyd. Sandra is also survived by Brandon (Melanie) Penton, Thomas (Michaela) Penton, Kayla Penton, and Gavin Goings, as well as numerous other great nieces and nephews.

Sandra is preceded in death by her mother Lillian Penton, her maternal grandmother Francis Sorrell, and her aunt Ganelle Sorrell. She is also preceded in death by her mother and father in law Eva and Gerard Gendron.

Visitation for Sandra will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church and will resume Friday, August 13, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until time for the services at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Marcus Rosa officiating. Interment to follow at Garden of Peace in Bogalusa, LA.
