Robert Dale James, age 79, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away on February 21, 2024, in Our Lady of the Angels Hospital - Bogalusa.

Robert, a retired painter, was born on April 30, 1944 in Foxworth, Mississippi. He was a father to his daughter, Traci James and stepson, Chris Glover. Robert is survived by his sister, Patricia Diane James.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. James; his mother, Myrtle Chain James; stepson, Ricky Glover; and siblings, Lavern C. James and Margarite James.

Private services will be held at a later date to honor Robert's life.

Poole Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
