Richard Allen Morris

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Allen Morris, who departed this life on October 30, 2026, at the age of 75, in Franklinton, LA.

Born on February 22, 1951 in Tylertown, MS., to Hoover and Shirley Morris, Richard grew up with a deep passion for fishing, hunting, music, playing golf and spending valuable time amongst his family and friends. A God-loving family man, he built a dedicated career as a Contractor and Finishing Carpenter while working alongside his son (Tracy) at Cabinet World in Bogalusa, LA.

Richard is survived by his mother Shirley Reynolds Morris; his wife, Cathleen Corbello; his children, Tony (Linda) Morris and R’Che’ Morris (Drew) Seal; siblings Beverly Seal (Rick) Masson and Vicki (Greg) Raynes; his stepchildren, Jordan (John) Cannon and Jessica (Tim) Bazor; and many cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Hoover Morris; a son Tracy Morris; a granddaughter Kaylee Morris; and a great grandson Dakota Allen Morris.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
