Richard Michael Harvin, 54, of Greensburg, Louisiana, passed away on May 29, 2024.

He was born on March 4, 1970, to Robert "Bob" (Debbie) Harvin and Charlotte Addison (Doug) Provost.

Richard, known for his love of the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a hardworking and intelligent man who also enjoyed cooking. Riding his Harley brought him a sense of freedom and joy.

He is survived by his son Trey Michael Harvin, daughter Rayburn Elizabeth Harvin, grandchildren, Braxtyn Tate Watts and Stella Kayte Harvin, brothers Eric Provost and Ben Provost, and cousins, Will Rushing (Jennifer), Justin Addison, Ryan Addison, Wesley Addison, Krysten Addison, and a host of aunts, uncles and extended family. Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Raquel Harvin.

A service to honor Richard's life will be held on June 8, 2024, at 11:00 am at Palestine Baptist Church in Bogalusa, LA 70427. The Poole Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana, is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
