Paul Wilton Miller, 68, of Angie, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Miller was born January 1, 1956 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retiree of the Rayburn Correctional Center. Throughout the years, Paul also served with several law enforcement agencies. He enjoyed traveling, carpentry, history, and, above all, his family. Paul will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Connie Hathorne Miller; two daughters, Ashley (Andy) Nobles, Paula (Jonathan) Stringer; six cherished grandchildren, John Austin Crain, Holden Crain, Addilyn Nobles, Avory Nobles, Justin Stringer, Brooklyn Stringer; adored great grandson, Dean Crain; his mother, Geneva Miller; two brothers, Walter (Nancy) Miller, Robert (Kim) Miller; and one sister, Wanda (Rick) Adams.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter "Doby" Miller; two daughters, Stacy Miller, Tracy Miller; and one grandson, Dustin Crain.

Funeral services will be held at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Avenue, Bogalusa, LA, 70427) on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Duane Ball and Rev. David Easterling will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Pine Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the services at 2:00 pm, Saturday at the funeral home.
