Milford L. Walker, 81, of Angie, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Mr. Walker was born April 30, 1943 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He was retired from the Orleans Parish School Board and had previously been employed by NASA. He was a member of Monroe Street Baptist Church and Center Masonic Lodge, No. 244, F. and A.M.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ledet and Lois Walker; and one nephew, Carlo Walker.

Family members include his devoted wife, Linda Gail Walker; one son, Eric Walker; one brother, Richard (the late Rosemary) Walker; one niece, Charlene (Kirk) Braud; one nephew, Chuck Walker; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Avenue, Bogalusa, LA, 70427) on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Larry Mizell will officiate the service. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 12:00 pm (noon) until services, Sunday at the funeral home.
