Mrs. Mildred Ainsworth, a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the age of 97.  Mrs. Ainsworth was a secretary at Superior Avenue School in Bogalusa for 31 years.

Mrs. Ainsworth is survived by her daughter, Connie (Larry) Crain; her son, Rodney (Gail) Ainsworth; and a daughter in law, Patsy.  She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Ainsworth was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sammy Ainsworth; her son, Charles Ronald Ainsworth; a brother, Woodrow Hutcheson; and a sister, Jo Cantrell.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M., noon, until time for the services at 1:00 P.M with Rev. Bruce Morris officiating the services. Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
