Maxie Lee Sonnier passed away on September 25, 2020 in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 76. She was born in Enon, LA on November 23, 1943.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Billy Ray Sonnier of Port Allen, LA; her children, Sherry (John) VanEtten of Tylertown, MS, Robert (Wanda) Sonnier of Westlake, LA, Amy (Travis) Alleman of Brusly, LA, Shelly (Adrian) Guillot of Iowa, LA. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reece and Vilee Jones and her brothers, Danny Jones, Thomas Jones, and Billy Wayne Jones.

Services celebrating her life will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Sunday, September 27, 2020. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Williams Cemetery. Rev. Pete Williams will officiate.
