Mary Duckett King, 78, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, went to be Home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, November 25, 2024 in Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Covington.

Mary was born on July 9, 1946, in Columbus, Georgia. She was a retired caregiver and a faithful member of the Endtime Jesus Ministry Church, where she ministered from time to time.

Family members include her husband, Gilbert King; three sons, Ira Wood, Robert Wood, Thomas (Marilyn) Wood; three brothers, Gary Gray, Terry Gray, Bruce Gray; three grandchildren, Austin Wood, Ciara (Gage) Wilson, Makayla Wood; four great grandchildren, Amber Wood, Michonne Wilson, Adley Hayes, Wyatt Warren and a host of grandchildren, extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by parents, H.N. Lewis, Mary Gray, and Robert W. Gray, Sr.; her late husband, James R. Duckett; one son, Michael F. Wood; brother, Robert W. Gray, Jr.; grandson, Shawn N. Wood; and great granddaughter, Arlina Tish Primes.

Funeral services will be held at Sheridan Jesus Name Holiness Church (52392 Highway 10, Franklinton, LA, 70438) on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Ponemah Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation after 5:00 pm, Monday evening at the church.
