Lorene Jones Bullen a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on May 24, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA at the age of 85. She was born on June 16, 1935.  She was a member of Pettitt Memorial Baptist Church.

Lorene is survived by four sons Brian Keith (Joni) Bullen of Carriere, MS; Kevin Lee Bullen of Bogalusa, LA; Robert Kelly (Tina) Bullen of Poplarville, MS; and Kendall Alan (Robyn) Bullen of Bogalusa, LA; her sister Emma Styron of Lake Providence, LA; her brother Jerrell (Jewel) Jones of Monroe, LA; ten grandchildren Amanda Hale, Jarrod Bullen, Trent Breland, Sarah Torres, Tyler Bullen, Matthew Bullen, Travis Trahan, Adam Trahan, Bailey Bullen, and Cameron Bullen; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Henry Bullen Jr.; her mother Ella Jones; her father Robert Lee Jones; her sisters Geneva Tate, Bernice Morin, and Norma Lee Ellerbe; and her brothers Russell Jones and Curtis Jones.

Visitation will be at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, Friday, May 28, 2021 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the chapel.  Rev. Tommy Varnado and Rev. Vernon Watts will officiate and interment will follow at Pounds Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA.

Active Pallbearers will be Dave Thompson, Dave Steven Thompson, Terry Williams, Matthew Bullen, Tyler Bullen, and Troy Tervalon.
