Linda Gail Seal, 77, of Angie, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 in Madison, Mississippi.

Gail was a compassionate and skilled nurse, caring for many in Bogalusa and Washington Parish during her tenure as an ICU and Emergency Room Nurse. She retired after 44 years of service. She wrote the first set of bylaws for membership in the Pearl River Community College – Student Nurses Association. She was also honored with Great 100 Nurses Award; Nominated – State of Louisiana Nightingale Award; and listed in the Who's Who of American Nursing; Who's Who in American Health Care; Who's Who of American Women; and CASA Volunteer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Perry Ison Seal and Doris Marie (nee' Seal) Seal.

Survivors include her husband, William Carl Seal; three children, William Christopher "Chris" Seal, Triston Lee Seal, Sabrina Laticia Seal and her boyfriend, Steven McIntosh; one grandson, Nicholas Drake Seal; two siblings, Janice Marie Seal (David) Douglas of Purvis, MS, Lauren Seal Case of Lafayette, LA; one nephew, Grant Douglas; great nieces and great nephews, Avery Douglas, Kieran Douglas; special cousins, Allen Seal, Johnny Seal, Aaron Seal; special aunt and uncle, Barbara Ellen Seal and William O'Neal Seal of Stateline, LA.

Funeral services will be held at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Avenue, Bogalusa, LA, 70427) on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 2:30 pm. Rev. Bryant Barnes will officiate the service. Burial will be in Seals-Tullos Cemetery in Stateline. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday at the funeral home.
