Linda Bryant Pope, age 76, of Bogalusa, Louisiana passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025. Born on May 24, 1949, in Tylertown, Mississippi, she lived a life rooted in dedication to her family and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Linda pursued her passion for plants and design by earning a degree in horticulture from Sullivan Technical College. She went on to build a fulfilling career as a professional landscaper, where her creativity and knowledge brought beauty to countless outdoor spaces. Her work reflected not only her skill but also her love for nature and the joy she found in cultivating life.

At the heart of Linda's life was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard "Ricky" Pope; two sons, Shane (Michele) Pope and Scott (Jennifer) Pope; four grandchildren, Jordan (Chris) Crenshaw, Chase Pope, Seth Pope, and Madison (Chris) Peddie; and five great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Linda also leaves behind four siblings: Patsy (Dale) Holden, Dena (Ricky Riccardi) Willett, Randy (Snoann) Willett, and Betty Riddle. Her extended family and many friends will remember her with affection and gratitude.

She was preceded in death by her father, Archie James Bryant, and her mother, Lettie Barber Britt.

Linda cherished time spent with loved ones above all else. Whether gathered for celebrations or quiet moments together, she found happiness in the company of those closest to her. Her warmth and presence will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday July 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home.
