Linda Marie Kimble Adams passed away peacefully at Our lady of the Angels in Bogalusa, LA surrounded by her family on June 21, 2021, at the age of 79.  She was born on May 1, 1942, in Bogalusa, LA.

Linda found strength through her Catholic faith. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She loved to travel with her family but especially with her mother, her "sidekick". She also loved her family gatherings. Linda took pride in her work as a manager with Res-Care, Inc, for many years.

She is survived by her loving children Scott (Stephanie) Adams of Bogalusa, LA; son-in-law, Jose Montenegro and daughter-in-law Tammy Dearth; Donnie (Tammy) Adams of Franklinton, LA and Lori (Chris) Colapietro of Alpharetta, GA; three brothers, Wilson "Buddy" (Judy) Kimble, John (Jeanne) Kimble, and Gary (Lita) Kimble; cousin, Terah Keaton; her grandchildren, Kevin (Emily) Adams, Jenny (Vince) Norman, Bobby Jarrell, Jonathan (Stefany) Jarrell, Jessica Jarrell, Anthony Colapietro, Alex Colapietro, Blake (Faith) Adams, Matt (Mandy) Falke, Brittney (Matt) Griffin, Megan (Nathan) Pierce, Taylor (Brandon) Mizell, Marisa Dearth, Shawn (Trish) Glover, Shane (Marie) Glover; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, McKenna, Lainey, Wyatt, Olivia, Tristan, Paisley, Kylea, Ella, Trenton, Braylon, Kolbee, Kingston, Savanna, Krista, Bella, Jackson, Axton, Kynli, Rayden, Caymen, Annalise, Eligh.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wilson "Ned" Kimble and Marie Carlisle Kimble Borde and Don T. Borde, her husband Donald R "Cowboy" Adams, her daughter Stefanie A Montenegro, and her son James W "Jamie" Adams.

Services will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
