Lila Jean Boyte, 84, resident of Angie, LA, passed away on August 17, 2020 at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton, LA.  She was born in Booneville, MS on May 25, 1936.

She is survived by her husband Billy Boyte; her sons Mike Thomas and Richard (Tammy) Green; a granddaughter Ashley Thomas; great grandchildren Justin, Kameron, Destinee, Bentley, and Lucas Thomas; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Opal Simms Stephenson; a son Joseph Barber; grandchildren Janet Thomas and Michael Ray Thomas; and her brother James Stephenson.

A graveside service to celebrate Lila's life will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Freeman Cemetery in Varnado, LA.  Rev. Kathy Pfleider will officiate and interment will follow the graveside.
