Lessie Dykes, age 91, a resident of Franklinton, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Plessie and Velma Dykes; wife, Verdie Mae Dykes; 2 sons, Paul Dykes and Darryl Dykes; 2 grandchildren, Summer Dykes and Keith Dykes; Brothers: Lester Dykes, Dent (Ethel) Dykes, Russell (Sue) Dykes George Dykes, and sister Azzie (Johnny) Temples.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Harvey Dykes and Bert (Rhonda) Dykes; 2 sister n law, Diane Dykes and Renee Dykes; Granddaughters: Autumn (Kevin) Dykes and Allisa (Mesa) Mitchell; Great-grandchildren: Wynter (Dylen) Hayes, Trey Hartzog, Alexus Rawls, Addison Simmons, Chloe Crain, Mason Hunt, Annalise Mitchell; Great Great-grandchildren: Landon Hayes and Oakley Hartzog. Also survived by a special friend, Patsy Temples, and other relatives, and a host of friends.
