Kevin Paul Mizell, 50, passed away at his home in Bogalusa. He was born Nov. 19, 1970.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Wayne Mizell. He is survived by his daughter, Mia Mizell; his mother, Marie Mizell; his brothers, Brian (Linda) Mizell and Wade (Amy) Mizell; his nephews, Kyle Mizell, Cory Mizell and Ethan (Sydney) Mizell; and a niece, Amanda (Justin) Mizell Yates.

He graduated Bogalusa High School in 1988 and worked at the Bogalusa Box Plant for 23 years. Kevin was easy-going, kindhearted and always good company. Endearingly called "Old School" by his friends, he was liked by most and loved by many. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his daughter, Mia. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends, riding his Harley, going to concerts and hanging out with family. Kevin was vibrant and lived life to the fullest. He will be deeply grieved and sorely missed, but above all else lovingly remembered for all the wonderful times we shared.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
