Kevin Scott Adams was born September 2, 1964, and was called home on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the age of 59. He served 28 years with the Bogalusa Police Department, retiring with the rank of Major. Prior to his service with BPD, he served as a Deputy with the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office. He loved spending time with his family and friends and cooking for family outings, holidays, fundraisers, and other events. In his spare time' he enjoyed going to local auctions and flea markets.

Scott is survived by his life-partner, Patricia "Patty" Ann Talley; son, Brandon Michael Talley (Amber); father, Bennie Lavell Adams; grandchildren, Conner Hillhouse, Daylan Talley, and Easton Scott Talley; sister, Robin Adams (Danny); brothers in law, Richard Talley (Sherma) and Harold Talley (Beth); and his sister-in-law, Carmen Talley Jones.

Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Dianna Sue "Sue Baby" Adams; his grandparents, Purcell and Ada Adams and Clayton and Velma Byrd; father-in-law, Walter Talley; mother-in-law, Ana Talley; and brothers in law, Walter Talley Jr. and Ted Jones.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service at 2:00 P.M.  Entombment to follow at Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum in Ponemah Cemetery.
