Kerry Provost Collins, 56, of Abita Springs, Louisiana, went to be Home with the Lord on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 in Ochsner Medical Center, New Orleans.

Ms. Collins was born April 7, 1968 in Washington Parish, Louisiana. She was a medical records specialist and a faithful member of New Life Church in Bogalusa. Kerry was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She received a lot of joy in seeing happiness in others. The laughter and chaos of her children and grandchildren were treasured times for her. Making sure the needs of others were met before her own was top priority. She never wanted or needed to be the center of attention. She was a dedicated and loyal friend to many. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family alike. She was always up for an adventure, whether it was to the beach, a distant family visit, a football game, or a concert. She was a Christian who loved and lived as a great example.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph D. "Joe" Provost, Jr.; one brother, Joseph D. Provost, III; and one sister, Samantha Provost.

Family members include her three children, Spenser Collins, Austin (Ariel I.) Collins, Natalie Collins; her mother, Linda Knight Provost; two grandchildren, Everleigh Collins, Annalyn Ishee; and one brother, Anthony W. Provost.

Funeral services will be held at New Life Church (1600 Jefferson Street, Bogalusa, LA, 70427) on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Wesley Quave will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery (23873 Old Columbia Road, Angie, LA, 70426). The family will receive friends and have visitation on Monday evening at New Life Church from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 until services at 2:00 pm.
