Kenny Dewane Smotherman passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Franklinton, LA at the age of 73. He was born in Bogalusa, LA on December 6, 1946.

He is survived by his brother, Bennie D. Smotherman and his sister, Patricia Ann Stafford Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie and Delmar Smotherman; and siblings, Don Smotherman, Thomas Smotherman, Margie Smotherman Kuhn, Dolly Smotherman Linder, and Polly Harris.

Graveside services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at T.P. Fornea Cemetery in Varnado, LA beginning at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory.
