Kenneth "Kenny" Dewain McDaniel a resident of Franklinton, LA passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2023, at the age of 71.  Kenny was a 1969 graduate from Franklinton High School and also attended Southeastern for three years.  Kenny was employed as a dairyman for many years but his latest job venture was long haul truck driving.

Kenny is survived by his two brothers, John (Theresa) McDaniel and Truman (Mary Alice) McDaniel.  He is also survived by six nephews, 1 niece, and numerous cousins.  He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, his special friend who took care of him during his illness, Ashlynn Burass.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Vernie E. McDaniel and Celia R. McDaniel and his brother, Velwood McDaniel.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 10:00 A.M.
