Katherine "Kathy" Moore Wallace
June 24, 1954- March 23, 2025

Kathy M. Wallace, age 70, a resident of Bogalusa was born on June 24, 1954, in Bogalusa, LA and passed away on March 23, 2025, surrounded by family. She lived a devoted life to her family and friends. She was a retired teacher and a faithful member of Pine Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Glenn Wallace of Bogalusa, LA, a daughter Stacy (Trey) Rester of Bogalusa, LA, three grandchildren, Sadie, Carley and Allie Rester of Bogalusa, LA; sisters Diane (Jerry) Lewis of Kenner, LA, Lora (Nonzie) Williams of Franklinton, LA, Lisa Hobgood of Franklin, TN, a stepsister Margaret (Skipper) Creel of Bogalusa, LA, two stepbrothers, Gerald (Connie) Little and Terri Little of Bogalusa, LA, a close cousin Phyllis (John) Lee of Baton Rouge, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe (father) and Glenda (stepmother) Moore, Marie Miley (mother) and her brother, Stanley Moore.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Spending time with her grandchildren was always the highlight of her day. She will be missed by many.

The service will take place at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home, 216 Alabama Avenue, Bogalusa, LA 70427 on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, with visitation beginning at 9:00 and the service starting at 11:00 am. Bro. Adam Luper will officiate the service. Interment will take place in Pounds Pool Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Trey Rester, Jerry Lewis, Gerald Little, Skipper Creel, Ryan Payne and Rocky Gerald. Honorary pallbearers will be Nonzie Williams and Justin Payne.
