Joyce Laneice Thomas, age 87, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, was born on March 11, 1937, and passed away on December 26, 2024, at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell.

Joyce is survived by her son Keith Thomas of Pearlington, MS; a granddaughter Meghan (Mark) Alsobrooks of Poplarville, MS; a great granddaughter Berklee Alsobrooks; 1 brother James Stillwell of Bush, LA; a brother-in-law Johnny Crain Sr. of Bogalusa, LA; and numerous niece and nephews.

Ms. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband Berkley Thomas; parents Harold James Stillwell and Letha Busby Stillwell; and a sister Peggy Crain.

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11:00a.m. in Hillview Memorial Gardens.
