In Loving Memory of Jonathan Willis "Jon Jon" Spencer

October 25, 1982 – August 3, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jonathan Willis Spencer, lovingly known as "Jon Jon", who left us far too soon on August 3, 2025, at the age of 42.

Born on October 25, 1982, Jon Jon was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. His infectious smile, unwavering kindness, and generous heart touched all who crossed his path. He lived with quiet strength, humor, and a love for others that knew no bounds. Though his time here was short, his impact was immeasurable. He reminded us all that a life well-lived is not about the number of years but the depth of love shared along the way.

He is lovingly remembered by his father, Conrad Spencer; his mother, Chyrll McCrary (John McCrary); his brother, Chadrick Spencer (Clint Brookshire); his sisters, Shannon Spencer, Cari McCrary, Amanda Cannaday, and Melody Head; his grandmother, Elaine Singley; his nieces, Eliza Seals and Bailey Prisk; his nephew, Austin Seals (Danielle Seals); great-nephew, Jaxon James Prisk; and his beloved fur-babies, Meela and Gremlin. He is also remembered by a host of extended family and friends who will continue to carry his light forward.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, followed by a service at 11:00 AM by Elder Duane Ball and Dr. Bryant Barnes. Interment will take place at Keaton's Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jon Jon's life.

Pallbearers: Shannon Temples, John McCrary, Chadrick Spencer, Austin Seals, Scott Prisk, and Eddie Stogner

Honorary Pallbearers: Terry Penton and Sunny Powell

Though we may never understand why he was taken from us so soon, we find comfort in knowing his soul is at peace. His spirit will live on—in quiet moments, in shared laughter, and in every sunset that feels just a little more beautiful because of him.
