John Edward Lott passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the age of 74.  He was co-owner of Lott & Sons, Inc for 37 years until it's closing in 2008.  During this period, Johnny made a lifetime of friends while servicing their vehicles.  Before joining the family business, Johnny proudly served in the U.S. Navy.

Johnny is survived by his partner, Tonya Glover; children, Samantha Verret and husband Jason (children - Wyatt, Morgan, and Sydney), April Lott (children – Jade and Claire), Megan Lott (children – Hayden and Rhyon), John Herron (children – Elijah), and Cullie Lott.  He is also survived by his brothers, Wilton "Billy" (Kay) Lott, and Robert "Bobby" (Debbie) Lott and sister, Barbara (Paul) Lee, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Susie B. Lott.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 20, 2023, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service at 2:00 P.M.    A private family graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
