Mr. Joel Jeffrey "Luke" Smith a resident of Mandeville, LA passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the age of 61.

Jeffrey is survived by his daughters, Shannon (Grant) Smith of Birmingham, AL and Brittney Smith of Lafayette, LA; his grandson, Gavin Smith of Birmingham, AL; his granddaughter, Ava Smith of Birmingham, AL; sister, Carla (Jim) Robinett of Poplar Bluff, MO; and his former wife, Julie Smith of Mandeville, LA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  He also leaves behind his faithful K-9 companion, Cletus.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Shirley Smith, Jr.; his brother, Rusty Smith III; his sister, Christy Barber; and a nephew, Bucky Smith IV.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service at 12:00 P.M.  with Rev. Eric Williams officiating the service.
