Jesse "Buddy" Green Jr., a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the age of 95.  Buddy worked at the Bogalusa Paper Mill for many years.  He and his late wife, Bobbye, loved to travel with "Campers on Mission'' to share the gospel and love of the Lord.  He is a life-long member of the First Baptist Church of Bogalusa and served as any position needed in the church.  Buddy loved the Lord, his family, and people.

Buddy is survived by his children, Tanda Dykes of Reliance, Tennessee and Craig Green of Panama City, Florida; his grandchildren, Tami Clowers, Toby Breland, Maeghan Self, Summer Elwood, and Annie Green; eight great grandchildren; and three great- great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until time for the services at 1:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Bogalusa with interment immediately following at Hillview Memorial Gardens.

Rest in Peace J Green!  You taught us gratitude, but we will always be grateful for the impact you had on each of our lives.
