Jason "Shawn" Sanders passed away in Franklinton, LA on December 29, 2020 at the age of 38. He was born in Independence, LA on September 2, 1982.

He is survived by his father, Thomas Steven Sanders; his sons, Sebastian Cole Sanders and Jeremiah Daniel Sanders; his twin daughters, Alisa Ann Sanders and Alisha Marie Sanders; brother, JY Sanders; half sister, Shawna Dunaway; and uncle, Bryce Sanders. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Candace Ann Gardner and his brother, Jade Steven Sanders.

A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory in Bogalusa, LA.
