Jackie L. Boone a resident of Ponchatoula, LA passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the age of 84.

Jackie is survived by his daughters, Lori (Jim) Walsh of Ponchatoula, LA and Cynthia (Johnny) Childers of Bogalusa, LA; grandchildren, Sandi Baker (Brad Williams), Megan Lott, John Herron, Cullie (Alaina) Lott, Audry Walsh, John Childers, Cecily Childers, Tyler Childers, Amanda Boone, Donovan Boone, and Dustin (Ashley) Boone; great grandchildren, Rhyon, Hayden, Elijah, Dreya, Hunter, Hannah, Emilie, Ean, Eli, Shallon, Chaston, Aryannah, Scarlett, Coralynn, Hallie, Callie, and Gage; and great great grandchildren, Paisley, Emmanuel, and Camden; and a daughter in law, Gwen Boone-Powe

Jackie was preceded in death by his wife, Cecily Boone; his parents, Homer and Arcola Boone; one son, Ronnie Boone; grandson, Jason Boone; and a great granddaughter, Savannah Boone.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Blaine Graham officiating the service.  Interment to follow at Sones Chapel Cemetery.
