Iddo Fornea, age 91, passed away on Christmas Day, 2021.  He was born in Bogalusa, LA on April 30, 1930.  Mr. Iddo was a U.S.  Army Veteran and was stationed in Germany for most of his career.  He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.  Mr. Iddo was retired from the GM & O and ICG Railroads.  He also served as a deacon at Highland Baptist Church.

Mr. Iddo is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Patsy Ruth Foster Fornea.  He is also survived by his daughter Monica (Irvin) Boudreaux; his son Stan W. (Belinda) Fornea; four grandchildren, Jeremy Boudreaux, Sara Boudreaux, Benjamin Fornea, and Brooke Fornea; and four great grandchildren.

Mr. Iddo was preceded in death by his parents, Iddo and Beulah Fornea of Angie, LA; two sisters, Nita Burdette and Yvonne Guillory; and two brothers, Mason and Bishop Fornea.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until time for the services at 11:00 A.M. at Highland Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, with Rev. Dennis Allen officiating.  Interment to follow at the Old Fornea Cemetery in Varnado, LA.  In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Highland Baptist Church in his memory.
