Geraldine Adams Penton, age 83, was born on October 26, 1941, in Bogalusa, LA, passed away on September 7, 2025, at her residence in Angie, LA.  Geraldine was a charter member of Monroe Creek Church.

Ms. Penton was preceded in death by her husband Lavelle Penton; parents Sherd Adams and Martha Jenkins Adams; siblings Nellie Adams, Nettie Mae Miley Folks, Floyd Adams, Dewitt "D.C." Adams, Sherwood Adams, Ruthie Thornhill Jackson, Beulah Garland, and Sadie Arlt.

Geraldine is survived by her sons Bruce Penton (Donna) of Folsom, LA, and Richard Penton of Lenior City, TN; two sisters Marcell Wills of Angie, LA, and Margie Ellis of Mt Hermon, LA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the service time of 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Edward Penton officiating.  Interment will follow in Singley Cemetery.
