He is also remembered by those who preceded him in death—his sister Frances Pigott, his brother Lawrence Pigott, and his niece Lila Pigott.

A proud veteran, Gerald served with honor in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, embodying steadfastness, courage, and the spirit of duty. A graveside service honoring Gerald Lee Pigott’s life will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Ponemah Cemetery, located on Louisiana Avenue in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
