Mr. George Edward Denham a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the age of 94.  Mr. George retired at the age of 87 from B.B. Sixty Rayburn Correctional Center.  He loved to hunt and fish.  Mr. George was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Mr. George was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Mabel Denham; his parents Junice and Lena Denham; a sister Gurtrude Fleming; and a grandson Gerald Williamson, Jr.

Mr. George is survived by his children, George (Mary) Denham, Jr.; Glenn Allen (Karen) Denham; James Denham; Pam (Geoffrey) Williamson; and Wanda (Rodney) Knight.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Emmanuel Baptist Church from 12:00 P.M.  until time for the services at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Pete Underwood officiating.  Interment to follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.  Military graveside rights will be performed by Magic City Legion Post #24.
