Mr. Freddie Pounds a resident of Lake Charles, LA passed away August 29, 2021 at the age of 74.

Mr. Pounds is survived by his wife Betty Pounds and a son Marshall Lamar (Candy) Pounds; three grandchildren Danielle, Megan, and Piper Pounds; and six great grandchildren Madison, Stelly, Jayla, Makya, Kameron, & Khloe.  Mr. Pounds is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Pounds was preceded in death by his parents Johnny Marshall and Bertha Erwin Pounds; a son Larry Pounds; two brothers Johnny and Jessie Pounds; five sisters Judy NeSmith, Louise Hartzog, Jean Pritchett, Millie Fowler, and Dorothy Kirschner; and one great grandson who died at birth.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 3, 2021, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until time for the services at 2:00 P.M. with interment to follow at Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery.
