Emelda Jean Cadierre, 79, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022.  She was a native and resident of Bogalusa, LA.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert Cadierre of Bogalusa, LA; her sons, Danny (Paula) Cadierre of Houma, LA and Ricky Cadierre of Bogalusa, LA; her daughter, Becky (Dale) Lirette of Gibson, LA; her grandchildren, Andre McElyea, Nikki Cadierre, Danielle Cadierre, Courtney LeBlanc and Joshua Lirette; her step-grandchildren, Matthew Lirette, Jesslyn Lirette, Brittany Martin and Nicole Stein; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Emelda was preceded in death by her father, Clyde H. Brown; her mother, Ethel Storey Brown; her sons, Bobby Cadierre and Guy Paul Cadierre; her brothers, Clyde E. Brown and Ronald D. Brown; her sister, Lucille B. Freeman; her step-grandchild, Dale Lirette, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Alexis Cadierre and Jenson LeBlanc.

Family and friends are invited to attend Emelda's celebration of life on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 2:00pm at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, 216 Alabama Avenue, Bogalusa, LA.  Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the hour of service.  Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
