Mr. Douglas Horne a native of Carriere, MS and resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away at Our Lady of the Angel's Hospital, Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the age of 78.  Mr. Horne taught in the Bogalusa School System for 20 years.

Mr. Horne is survived by his wife Ruth Horne of Bogalusa, LA; a brother Gregory Warren (Charlotte) Horne of Ocean Springs, MS; and a nephew Lieutenant Colonel Donald Steven Horne.  He is also survived by a host of friends.

Mr. Horne was preceded in death by his parents Colonel Wickcliff & Sarah Horne and a brother Wickcliff Steven Horne.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Clay Norwood officiating.
