Dorothy Faye Miller, age 82, was born in Bogalusa, LA on November 18, 1943, passed away on May 21, 2026, at her residence in Bogalusa, LA.

Dorothy was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.  She loved making a variety of crafts including sewing, crocheting, needle point, painting, and her newest hobby of making jewelry.

Dorothy is survived by her three children Kim (Bruce) Butler, Kelli Jo (Daniel) Lott, and Joseph "JoJo" Miller; two special friends Nikki Ewell and Natalie Bonura; a brother Dale "Cootie" (Patsy) Holden; her grandchildren Holden and Reid (Courtney) Butler, Hayleigh (Kirkland) Creel, and Lindsey McGehee; two great grandchildren Mary Ellis Creel, and Millyn Creel; step grandchildren Aaron and Austin Lott and Amanda (Tom) Nixon.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Larry "Buck" Miller; her parents L.C. Holden and Clevia Kaufman Holden; and her lifelong best friend Janie McGraw.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Palestine Baptist Church from 10:00a.m. until the funeral service time of 2:00p.m.  Interment will follow in Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Joe Romano will officiate.
