Mrs. Doris Crain Hyde a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away August 19, 2021 in Alexandria, LA at the age of 91.  Doris adored her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend.  She enjoyed hosting many family get-togethers and taking camping trips and vacations with her children and grandchildren.  She will be lovingly remembered by her family and close friends.

Mrs. Doris is survived by her daughter Linda Denise Green, a son in law John Teddy Scott, her grandchildren Aaron Lee (Lindsay Herr) Green and Brittany Hyde (Jeffery Hayward) Remington, and her great grandchildren Skyler Guy Remington, Justin Lee Remington, Christian Alan Remington, Ethan Harrison Green, and Mason Alexander Green.

She was preceded in death by her mother Laura Crain, her husband Claude Lee Hyde, and a daughter Sherri Hyde Scott.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in the Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. then will continue Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until time for the services at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Clay Norwood officiating.  Interment to follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
