Ms. Donna Rawls Varnado a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away in the comfort of her home on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the age of 63.

Donna is survived by her sons, Reed (Katelin) Varnado and Daniel Varnado (Megan George) both of Baton Rouge, LA; her grandchildren, Olivia Varnado, Connor Varnado, and Beaux Varnado; two brothers, Greg (LaDonna) Rawls of Odenville, AL and Gary Rawls (Sharon McClendon) of Bogalusa, LA; and one sister, Dana (Ray) Thomas of Bogalusa, LA.  She is also survived by a loving, long-time partner, Mike Stogner; her former mother-in-law with whom she remained close, Barbara Varnado; her niece and nephew, Jessica (Travis) Mauthe and Hunter (McKenzie) Thomas; and three very close friends, Debbie Murray, Karen Mizell and Mary Jane Arlt whom have been there in her greatest times of need.

Donna was preceded in death by her former husband, Robbie Varnado; her parents, Lavaughn M. and Naomi D. Rawls; and her father-in-law, Robert Varnado, Sr.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
