Mrs. Diane Wells Strahan, a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, in St. Francisville, LA at the age of 73.

Mrs. Diane was a home health nurse for years. She loved to play solitaire and other computer games. Mrs. Diane was the last of nine siblings.

Mrs. Diane is survived by her daughter, Amy (Chris) Hand Smith and her grandchildren, Shane Jarrell, Jacob Hand, Matthew Hand, and Lucas Hand.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy P. Strahan; her parents, Fred and Mary E. Wells; five brothers, Fred Wells, Jr., Bobby Wells, Glen Wells, David Wells, and Jerry Wayne Wells; and three sisters, Mildred Slocum, Shirley A. Williams, Betty Joe Ikerd.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. until time for the services at 2:00 P.M. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Lassley officiating the services.  Interment to follow at Pounds Cemetery.
